Building Custom Systems:

Thinking of purchasing a new computer? Been looking at the low pricing of pre-built systems in retail stores? WAIT! They may sound like good deals now, but most pre-built name brand systems are proprietary machines. In order to upgrade or repair a proprietary computers, alot of times sending the computer away to the original manufacture for weeks, even months at a time, leaving you without a computer for an unknown amount of time with almost no way of finding out how the progress on your computer is going. All of our systems are custom built machines and use standard computer components. For example, If you lose your video on a custom built machine, you may only have to replace the video card, and you'll be backup and running. Computer Upgrades:

Have an older computer and want to get it upgraded without having to purchase a new system? In most cases we can help. We can sometimes tell you over the phone what upgrades will cost, but in order to be sure that the components you want will work in your system, we may need you to bring it in so we can look at it and be sure that what we quoted you will indeed work on your current system configuration. Repair Services:

In-shop Service: We work on any type of IBM compatible PC inour shop for $55.00 (US Currency) per Hour. This covers anything that involves indepth testing of your system and/or any addition or removal of hardware or software.

Hardware Installations:

At JL Computers we can take care of your hardware needs. We can handle things as simple as Installing more memory for your PC or build a network server from the ground up. You can supply us with the hardware you want install as well as ordering what you need through us. If you need a specialized component, just give us a call and we'll do our best to find you the part you need at the lowest cost to your pocket.

Networking:

At JL Computers, we can take care of all your networking needs. We have experience in implementing LANS & WANS. We can advise you on how to run a network Using Windows 3.11, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Novell or Lantastic. Let us help you plan your networking needs from paper up through the installation of networking cable throughout your office, to Installation of networking hardware and software. We also trouble shoot networks to get you back up and running with a minimum of down time.

Computer Cleansing:

Computer Component Cleaning: All computers should be cleaned on a fairly often and regular basis. unfortunately, most are not. Keeping the components inside your computer free from excessive dust anddirt, is vital to keeping your hardware operating at peak performance. At JL Computers, we can take care of this task for you.

Data Transfers:

If you have need of having mass amounts of data transferred from one system to another, or from an old Hard Drive to a newly installed one, we can do that for you. In most cases we will need you to bring your system in for In-Shop work to do this kind of transfers.

Software Installation and Setup:
